my name is kelly. i’m in my early thirties. i live in north carolina with my hilariously funny 7 year old son, jordan. i love to read, write, shop, spend time with my boyfriend, waste time online, and tune the world out with my ipod.

i listen to hip hop and nine inch nails and radiohead. i’m in a sorority. i work out 3 times a week. i love collecting stationery and gel pens. i’m a movie fanatic. and i don’t capitalize my sentences when i write for personal use, even though i’m an english teacher. i watch jeopardy religiously. and also i’m a total girly girl–i own about 200 lipglosses and a MAC collection that would make gene simmons blush.
i am fascinated by life & the human experience. i’ve kept a paper journal off line for as long as i can remember and my desire is to write online as much as i can. i’ve been on the internet since 2001 and since that time i’ve keep tons of online journals in various places. i have an incessant need to write, to leave a record, to uncover some deep part of myself that was previously undiscovered. life, i figure, is all about uncovering some hidden thing, about mental & physical documentation, in some form or another.
i don’t know what my plans are for this domain. my personal challenge is to create space to update this thing and not forget about this project in the meantime. bear with me. perhaps this thing will bear fruit after all.
